Where To Find It

Common Path: Analysis > Activity

Exact access can depend on your QCRM role. If the menu item is not visible, ask an administrator to review your permissions.

How It Works

  • Activity captures important record events such as created, updated, deleted, status changed, owner changed, converted, imported, exported, and system events.
  • Activity can appear on central Activity pages and on individual record detail pages.
  • Linked references help users navigate back to the affected record.

Recommended Workflow

  1. Open Activity from the Analysis section.
  2. Scan recent activity for the record or user you care about.
  3. Open the linked record for details.
  4. Use the record detail page to review comments and current data.
  5. Ask an administrator if activity history shows an unexpected change.

Best Practice

  • Use activity as a history tool, not as the main place to edit records.
  • Check activity before changing ownership or status on shared records.
  • Pair activity history with comments for the clearest business context.

Troubleshooting

  • If activity is missing, the event may not be captured for that action or your role may not view it.
  • If a user name is unclear, check whether the change came from an import or system process.
  • If a linked record is unavailable, it may have been deleted or your role may not have access.
